Some days we get very interesting clouds roll in off the lake.
I think all of the main pages and links should be working now. I need to add some more links to the Chess 256, and Sector 256 pages to make navigation easier, but that can wait.
The site now uses the Twenty Ten theme, which is the new default theme for WordPress. It is an excellent theme, with lots of widget space.
I have made a number of modifications to Twenty Ten, the most noticeable of which is the “navigation link bar” just below the main menu bar. The idea with this link bar is to make getting between equal level pages with the same parent easy, as well as getting back to parent pages. This link bar ties into the excellent new Menu feature in WordPress 3.0. I will try and post some info on how I hacked it into place later; maybe I’ll even create a plugin… maybe…
I’ve also turned on an image caching feature, which makes the site load faster.
I’m currently updating the theme of this site; you can expect some problems when using the site for a few days.
If you aren’t sure what this is, then checkout folding.stanford.edu and start folding.
Change the zoom while the shutter is open!
I know it’s an old trick, but after years of using point and shoot cameras, it’s really fun to do.
